Now in its 5th year, MobileTECH has firmly established itself as the major cross-sector technology event focusing on agriculture, horticulture and forestry industries.

Fonterra is a world-leader in dairy innovation and works with leading Kiwi innovators to help improve our farmers’ productivity and profitability. Fonterra have a number of key inittatives on the go to digitise essential systems and bring together and simplify data for the farm.
Jason Roebuck, Managing Director, StockX Systems
StockX is a disruptive innovation bringing to the NZ farmer the choice of utilizing SaaS to dis-intermediate the sale and purchase of livestock across New Zealand. Jason will be covering a range of topics, including; being a start-up, on-boarding early adopters, competitor response from an entrenched and traditional commercial model, courting and formation of strategic partnerships, the drive to validation and industry endorsement, linking value chains and addressing future opportunities.
Greg Bodeker, Director, Bodeker Scientific (and lead organisation for Centre for Space Science Technology proposal)
The Centre for Space Science Technology (CSST) is currently being proposed as a Regional Research Institute with the aim to launch New Zealand’s first satellite into orbit. Greg will cover what CSST is proposing to do, how it is proposing to do it and how new space-based measurements, products and solutions will be tailored to New Zealand’s regional industries.

The New Zealand forestry industry has recently taken giant steps in their use of teleoperation technology. In a world-first, they are harvesting wood from steep terrain trees using a purpose-built machine operated via remote control.
