The Second Annual Changing Perceptions of Engineered Timber for Construction Conference will encourage collaboration among engineers, quantity surveyors, architects and developers and will raise awareness of them the breadth and depth of knowledge locally and internationally around engineered timber construction.

It will promote wood as a structural product that can be used in multi-storey, residential and commercial/industrial buildings not typically associated with timber in New Zealand. We have seen the benefits of doing this at a local level in Rotorua with the recent build of new ACC offices using CLT (cross-laminated timber). Other examples exist in New Zealand and more extensively overseas, and this event is an opportunity to extend the thinking to a wider NZ audience.

CPD Points
Architect and Design attendees will receive 60 NZRAB CPD Points and 10 ADNZ CPD Points. Please apply as Individual Activity.
